The SmartEncrypt Management Console offers a number of security settings to further enhance access control to encrypted files. These include;
- Password policy - control password length, complexity and expiry.
 - Client login settings - automatically lock accounts that have been inactive, or after a specified number failed login attempts.
 - Offline Access - enable users to create a time-sensitive PIN on the desktop client, allowing them to log in to the SmartEncrypt client without an active internet connection.
 - SSO via Azure AD - enable users to sign in to the desktop client using their Azure AD credentials.
 - Two-factor Authentication - require users to further prove their identity using a One-Time Password (OTP) during the login process.
 - Geo and IP restrictions - restrict client login by white or black-listing geographical regions or specific IP addresses.
